Image Completion Time: a couple of days

This is a still from a short animation we did recently. We spent a couple of days on modeling, this is actually a community, there are many different Europe style houses. We spent days to render the animaiton, but for this image, it did not take long time, about 15 minutes. The animation includes many houses and there are both daytime and night time. I myself like this frame best, because this house in the dusk sunshine is so peaceful, and it's just the moment when the house catches the last beam of the sun. I' d like to call it "the dusk moment". Hope you liekt it too:-)

I like it but I think I have a problem with the camera. I think the lens aspect has generic 3D settings, which makes the nice house look "3D" instead of what you would see if taken from a camera. If it were flattened a bit I think it may look better.

Excellent job!

yea the lighting is very cool, but i agree with the above comment about the camera, have you posted your modified version anywhere? i am thinking perspective correction would help this image, just make the camera flat on to the ground plane, then use the z-shear atrribute to bring it back to its original angle.

actually looking a second time i think you have this anyway, its just to me somthing about it seems a little top heavy, almost like its leaning foward.
