This is not quite right yet since for some reason the UVs actually live in the green and blue channel while the STMap uses red and green. Insert a Shuffle node to copy the blue channel into the red to fix this.

Now simply pinch the alpha channel from the original 3D render and premultiply the result and you're all set.
